What's your favorite quote?

I've noticed that young adults tend to struggle with the big question of who you are, my favorite quote as a result of that is : Tension is who you thing you should be...relaxation is who you are" - Chinese Proverb 

Inspirational Person:

My mother is my continual mentor. She passed away two years ago but every day I try to be like I remember her, and do things that she would be proud of. 

Areas of Interest:

I am interested in Intellectual Property Law and conversely considering dabbling in Criminal Law. I am an avid journalist and someday would love to incorporate Journalism and Law into what I would think is the perfect career, which unfortunately I haven't figured out yet. 

Major Goals 2012 - 2013:

I would like to see the Law Society be established as a visible and viable entity on both UWI and COB campuses and I would like to see the Law Society expand the advocacy program on behalf of students so they can get an opportunity to travel and compete on a global scale in their future profession. I would also like to see the Law Society be the real voice of the student who most importantly will utilize and trust that voice to act on their behalf. 

Hobbies: 

I love to bake and cook. I am a partner in small baking company and I love to design and create delicious desserts. I like to experiment with different dishes and cook gourmet cuisine for my family and friends. To me there is nothing better than sitting down with a good book, yes including Twilight. I am die hard "Twi-hard" and the Southern Vampire Series is also a personal favorite of mine.

Five years from now...

In the next 5 years I see myself graduating from Eugene Dupuch, and making my first forays into my law career. My hopes is to serve my community with a stint in the Attorney Generals Office. In the next 5 years I would also like to see myself as an established journalist for the Nassau Guardian Newspaper and having a successfully lucrative  bakery business with my partners. 

Personal Qualities:

I do wish to bring passion, abject creativity and innovation to my position in order to serve the Executive Committee in my own unique but definitely effective way. 

Favorite Law Experience to Date:

When i went to college in Minnesota as a part of the Pre-Law program at my University we got to got a taste of the Democrat and Republican campaign trail (this was Obama's election). I just remember feeling out of my depth but extremely excited about the political pathway some lawyers take and getting a peak into their minds. Hopefully I can augment my law experience with experiences in the Bahamas soon.
